This is the 'Kenketsugou Keitai' (Sword Union Mode) of Starmon and a group of Pickmon. The weapon in question boasts a hard solid blade that's saw-edged in shape, which can inflict a great deal of damage if Shoutmon uses it to slash enemies with. Because the weapon cuts things to shreds, if injured by a normal attack it will need time to recover, but the enemy receives a greater amount of damage.

Not only is it hard, but the Pickmon forming the blade can rearrange their bonds, and the resulting amount of flexibility gives the sword the ability to absorb shocks as if they were bent willow. The Star Sword is regarded as a symbol of the strong relationship between Starmon and Pickmon. (Wildermon)
