An Insect Digimon which belongs to the mysterious
clandestine air hive, "Royal Base". While other Insect
Digimon lead different lives, this species is a hard
worker with a powerful personality. It is always on good
terms with Plant Digimon such as
Palmon and Lillymon.
During the construction of permanent bases, many
Fanbeemon often stay behind, but a few are sent out at a
time to collect data to use as material from flowers and
plants, their main role in life, even though they are
classified as a Virus attribute. As the base is guarded
by powerful Digimon, no-one dares to approach the base
close-up, so for now the actual construction process
remains a mystery. Its special attack is "Gear Stinger",
which rapidly fires small jagged needles. It can also
use "88 Call" to summon allies by emitting a red light
from his antennae, making opponents flee as soon as they
appear in swarms. (Wildermon)

謎の“空中秘蜜基地「ローヤルベース」”に所属している昆虫型デジモン。他の昆虫型デジモンとは異なった生活ではあるが、性格はとても陽気で力持ちの働き者。パルモンやリリモンなどの植物型デジモンとはいつも仲良くしている。基地は常時建設途中で、花や草木などのフィールド上のデータを材料として少しずつ持ち帰る任務についているため、ウィルス種に区分されている。また、基地は強力なデジモンで守られおり、近づく事すら出来ないため、その建設目的は今のところ謎である。必殺技はギザギザのある小さな針を連射して放つ『ギアスティンガー』。また、頭部の触角を赤くして味方に連絡『８８コール（ハチハチコール）』している時は、大勢の仲間を呼ぶので逃げた方が賢明である。
