A Demon Lord Digimon who is the leader of many Demon Digimon and Fallen Angel Digimon. Like such other beings as Devimon, Daemon was originally an Angel Digimon, and a particularly high-levelled one at that. However, it raged frantically and rebelled against the presence of Good in the Digital World (probably the one who created the Digital World), and thus was deleted to the Dark Area (the graveyard of erased data). It aims to one day finally conquer the Digital World, and has vowed to avenge the presence of Good. Also, when it led the rebellion, it was the strongest of the Mega levels who participated, and it secretly plotted to revive the "Super-Mega Digimon". Its special attack is "Flame Inferno", which emits extremely hot hellfire. This attack completely burns those who are exposed to the flames, leaving not even a trace behind. (Wildermon)

多くの悪魔型デジモンや堕天使型デジモンを率いる魔王型デジモン。デーモンは元々はデビモン等と同じく天使型デジモンであり、その中でも特にレベルの高い存在であった。しかし、デジタルワールドの善の存在（恐らくはデジタルワールドを構築した人間）に対して、反逆あるいは猛威を振るったためダークエリア（消去されたデータの墓場）へとデリートされてしまった。彼等は、いつの日かデジタルワールドを征服し、善の存在への復讐を誓っている。また、その反逆戦争の時に彼等を率いた、究極体の中でも最強だった「超究極体デジモン」を密かに復活させようと企てている。必殺技は、超高熱の地獄の業火『フレイムインフェルノ』。この技を受けると、跡形も無く燃やし尽くされてしまう。

It was once positioned at the highest set of Angel Digimon (Seraphimon), but it revolted against the Digital World's "presence of good" (possibly the human that created it) and it's thought that this leader of the rebel fighters fell into the "Dark Area", where it then became a Demon Lord. It now plans his vengeance by bringing back a "Super-Mega" that can influence the Digital World. (Wildermon)

^Note-1 The Angel Digimon that Daemon was before its rebellion was Seraphimon.

^Note-2 Daemon was created for the V-Tamer manga, where it's design was slightly different. This Daemon, referred to as Lord Demon, was the leader of Virus Digimon leading a take over the Digital World and the Real World. Daemon recruits a human, Neo, to battle Taichi by raising the Super Ultimate Digimon, Arkadimon. Neo backstabbed Daemon and had Arkadimon absorb it. Arkadimon evolved all the way up to Super Ultimate, but was defeated. At the end of the manga, Daemon revealed that its absorption was part of its plans. Using the remaining data of Arkadimon, Daemon evolved to Demon (Super Ultimate).
