Digimon Dictionary
English
An artificial Digimon whose special rubbery body allows it to capture
and store the energy from other Digimon. It is a Digimon with a spontaneous
sort of behavior, like a piece of machinery with a pre-programmed set of
instructions. It shows no weakness against fatigue, pain, death or even
tiredness. It just fights like a machine.
Although they don't have a high amount of attack power, they don't have a
good grasp of group tactics, because their ability to remember long methods
used in such tactics as 'infiltration-by-numbers' is poor, so they're better
off working on their own.
When injured, a Troopmon will just dump whatever energy it is carrying at
the moment, before a replacement Troopmon quickly stores that energy within
its rubbery body via a special method, so they can be sent out many times on
the battlefield. (Wildermon)
