One of the Four Holy Beast Digimon who defends the
Digital World; it protects the North and uses mist as a
means of protection. Like the other Four Holy Beast
Digimon, it is a legendary beast who has powers
comparable to that of God. Ebonwumon is the oldest
member of the Four Holy Beasts, and has a good-natured
personality. It has four shining eyes and, like all the
other members of the Four Holy Beasts, bears twelve
Digi-Cores that float around its body. Usually, a being
will only have a single Digi-Core inside its body, with
the exception of Undead types, but no matter what the
classification, it seems that Digi-Cores around a
being's body will still keep them alive so long as they
aren't destroyed. Its special attack is "Mugen", a thick
fog that traps enemies within it, and uses
hallucinations to destroy them mentally. (Wildermon)

デジタルワールドを守護する四聖獣デジモンの１匹であり、北方を守護し変幻自在な水技を使う。他の四聖獣デジモンと同じく伝説の存在であり、その強さは神にも匹敵すると言われている。シェンウーモンは四聖獣デジモンの中でも最長老であり、温厚な性格の持ち主である。四聖獣デジモンに共通するのは輝く４眼を持ち、１２個の電脳核（デジコア）を体の外に浮遊させている。通常デジコアは１体に１個であり、アンデット系か、よほどの究極体クラスで無い限り体外にさらすことは無い。必殺技は敵の周辺に濃い霧を発生させて幻影を見せ、精神を破壊する『霧幻（むげん）』。

and has a gentle personality. During a phase shift in the Digital World,
the names and positions of Ebonwumon and
Zhuqiaomon swapped round
