A Mega-level Mutant Digimon which is said to have
Dark-evolved from
Digitamamon. Though the
meaning of "evil" in the Digital World is a very
difficult one, Devitamamon has an existence like that of
"Pandora's Box", which is crammed with all the evils of
the world. It makes everything it sees and touches a
target of its hatred, and it chants and masters magic
through a lost ancient high class programming language.
It doesn't use its magic effects unless for
"destruction". Its Special Move is to expel dark gas
which corrodes the soul by obscuring the opponent’s
field of vision and digitally decomposes from the

デジタマモンが暗黒進化したと言われる突然変異型の究極体デジモン。デジタルワールドにおける“邪悪”の定義は、非常に難しいものがあるが、このデビタマモンはこの世界の邪悪の全てを詰め込んだ「パンドラの箱」のような存在である。見るもの触れるもの全てを憎悪の対象とし、失われた古代の高等プログラム言語による魔法を詠唱し使いこなす。その魔法効果は「破壊」以外に使われることはない。必殺技は、相手の視界を奪い精神を蝕み、そして体表面からデジタル分解していく暗黒のガスを吐く『ブラックデスクラウド』。

entry was a winner, appearing for the first time in
Booster 8.

timeline, the
3rd "Bandai-Town FAX Service Digimon
Illustration Contest" held on December 21st
1999, in which Devitamamon won. The DVR site states
"Regarding Devitamamon, its official illustration and
its LCD on the D-3 have different designs, but the LCD
version wearing a crown stays true to the original
design entered in this contest. It is unknown if this
was done on purpose, was due to information
communication not being smooth, or any other reason. The
reason why the LCD on the D-3 is so different from the
