Digimon Dictionary

A Holy Beast Digimon who is said to resemble the "Baku". This Digimon was seen arising from REM sleep pattern data stored on a computer designed to detect brain waves from human beings, and it seems to eat only dreams. In addition, recent studies have found that it has the power to eliminate nightmares, especially malicious viruses. Moreover, it also bears the ability to successfully convert captured nightmares into normal viruses, and thus it is considered a holy Digimon. A Holy Ring, attached to Bakumon's forefoot, proves that it is of a sacred lineage, and may also be linked to its special abilities. Its special attack is "Nightmare Syndrome", which releases the nightmares it has stored up in its body that send the opponent into a state of fear. The Ultimate-leveled Digimon Digitamamon can also perform this attack, but its connections with Bakumon remain a mystery. (Wildermon)
