A Warrior Digimon with a matchless sword called the "Jatetsufūjin-maru".

The amount of ominous and evil forces sealed within the "Jatetsufūjin-maru" are enough to split a star in two, and said star would collapse as soon as it pulled the sword out. Therefore, Tactimon never executes others when it sword fights, but it can still exert a destructive amount of threat. It is said to: one, be able to cause earthquakes with its sword when on the land; two, eliminate hundreds of warriors; and three, create a landslide by emitting a shockwave. Hence why the hidden powers within its "Jatetsufūjin-maru" shouldn't be taken so lightly. It's talent for spying that really stands Tactimon out from the crowd.

Besides its abilities as a warrior, it is said to have "ingenuity that gushes out like a fountain", allowing it to devise tricks and skilled strategies, meaning that Tactimon's real power comes from its brains, not its brawn. The army corps that Tactimon leads are told that "Your victory has already been decided for you" before battle, making them believe they are already winners even after they eventually lose. 武人としての実力もさることながら、「知謀、泉が如く湧くがごとし」と言われるほど計略と戦略に長けており、タクティモンの真の実力は腕力ではなくその知謀にある。タクティモンが軍団を率いるとき、既に勝敗は決しており「闘う前に勝利が決まっている」と言われる。様々に張り巡らされた計略によりタクティモンが戦場に立つ時にはすでに絶対的な有利さが保証されているのだ。
