A Champion-levelled Holy Beast Digimon who oozes the style of a "King". It is said to be the evolved form of the Digimon known as 'Leormon', but there are fewer Liamon about than there are Leormon, so it is said to have an "illusionary" existence. It tends to prefer to catch prey stronger than it is, and he has been frequently seen attacking even Mega Digimon without flinching. Its special attacks are "Thunder of King", which discharges electricity accumulated in his mane, and "Critical Strike", which aims and bites down on the enemy's weak spots with its fangs. 成熟期にしてすでに「王」の風格を漂わせる聖獣型デジモン。レオルモンからの進化デジモンであるといわれているが、レオルモン以上に生存個体が少なく、「幻」の存在となっている。自分より強い獲物を好んで捕らえる傾向があり、究極体デジモンにですらひるまず攻撃を仕掛けるところをたびたび目撃されている。必殺技はタテガミに発生した電気を貯めて放出する『サンダーオブキング』とキバで敵の急所を確実に狙う『クリティカルストライク』。
