A monarch Digimon who works behind the scenes constructing the Great Chessmon Empire. However, nobody knows what the Great Chessmon Empire is, and those near it aren't interested. It hardly attacks by itself because it is a total coward, and the only time when it shows how fast it is is when it's escaping from the enemy. Its motto is "He that fights and runs away may live to fight another day!" But its brain is surprisingly comparable to that of a supercomputer. Its special attack is "Checkmate", which attacks unavoidably. This attack puts its life at stake in order for it to unleash its super-strong offensive power. It can also create duplicates of itself with the "King Stick" staff it always wields. "King Dash", where it runs away quickly, is also a handy attack it can use. (Wildermon)

チェスモン大帝国を築く為に暗躍する王様デジモン。しかし、チェスモン大帝国がどのようなものか誰も知らず、周囲からも興味を持たれていない。小心者で自分から攻撃をすることはほとんど皆無で、いざという時の逃げ足だけは速い。口癖は「逃げるが勝ち！」。しかし、意外にもスパコン並みの頭脳をもっている。必殺技は、しかたなく自分から攻撃する『チェックメイト』。この技は自分の命がかかると超絶な攻撃力をもつ。また、自分の影武者を創り出す『キングスティック』を肌身離さず持っている。素早く逃げる『キングダッシュ』も得意中の得意技である。
